HIS GLORY
Part of the Covenant Group Discipleship Series, HIS GLORY may be used either as an ‘introductory’ journal prior to commencing the Adventure Series or as a supplement to the Adventure or Challenge Series.
HIS GLORY investigates the nature of God as he has revealed himself in Scripture. God’s glory is the manifestation or revelation of his nature and expresses the reality of his essence. As the planets in our solar system glorify the sun by reflecting it’s light, so we glorify God as we reflect his nature. Glorifying God is to act in such a way that we acknowledge and demonstrate what is true about God. This journal explores attributes of God, providing foundational scriptures for reading and reflection:

HIS GLORY is part of the Covenant Group Discipleship Series, a multi-journal spiritual mentoring tool for men who seek to grow deeper in their spiritual walk and within a small group context. The series is designed to equip men to walk with God for a lifetime by developing spiritual habits, foundational to a Christ-centered life.
A ‘covenant group’ is a small group template whereby men unite in following Jesus by meeting regularly to care and support one another–and pursue spiritual habits together using the journal.
HIS GLORY is not a typical curriculum-driven bible study; Covenant Group Discipleship Journals are guided self-discovery tools aimed at training men to feed themselves on God’s Word. The core training practice in each unit of the Covenant Group Discipleship Series is the daily Appointment with God (AWG). With this habit, men learn how to hear God speak through His Word, record a key passage, and reflect on what they’ve gleaned. Weekly covenant group meetings are designed to help men connect deeply with one another, share insights and applications from Scripture, and provide support, mutual encouragement, and prayer.
